Step 1 - Start with a relaxed Discovery Call
We start with a relaxed Discovery Call. You can tell me about your child, what matters most to you about this birthday, and what you want it to feel like. I’ll answer your questions and keep it simple, with zero pressure.
Your Transformational Experience
Next comes your Transformational Experience. This is a calm, guided celebration designed around your child, with plenty of space for them to warm up, play, and be fully themselves.
Step 3 - Design Consultation
Then we’ll have your Design Consultation, where you see everything and choose what you’d love in your home. I’ll guide you through it so it feels easy and you leave feeling clear and excited.
Step 3 - Love Your Portraits
And then, on an ordinary Tuesday morning, you walk past their birthday artwork and feel that steady relief: you didn’t miss who they are. You feel proud, settled, and quietly happy that you made it meaningful.

The Simple Birthday Portraits Experience is only £30 and includes:
- Discovery Call; help us get to know what you cherish most about your child so we can capture their personality.
- Professional and relaxed 45-minute studio photoshoot; with plenty of time to settle in, and enjoy the moment.
- £50 Studio Gift Certificate: To use towards the purchase of beautiful artwork that turns your house into a home.(for the avoidance of doubt this gift certificate cannot be used towards Digital Collections).
- Design Consultation & Ordering Appointment : A separate appointment with a guided presentation of your photos where you will choose your favourites and we create your artwork together. Your special day at our studio to purchase your stunning portraits. Alternatively we also offer a same day appointment so you can choose straight after your session.

I really hoped that Theo would smash up the cake and dive right in. And he did!! The cake didn’t stand a chance. He loved the balloons too, and as for splash time, he splashed and giggled to his hearts content. One very happy birthday boy. The whole experience was amazing and the photos captured the happiness and love we have for our Theo.

Who are Simple Birthday Portraits for?
Simple Birthday Portraits are designed for children celebrating any birthday, from second birthdays onwards. The experience focuses on individual portraits of the birthday child only.
How long is the session?
These are short, professionally guided studio sessions, designed to be calm, efficient, and just the right length for children — without feeling rushed.
What if my child is shy, wriggly or doesn’t want to sit still?
That’s completely normal — and very much expected!
Our sessions are relaxed and child-led, with no pressure to “perform.” We follow your child’s lead and work gently to bring out their natural expressions.
What should my child wear?
We recommend simple, comfortable outfits that allow your child to move and feel like themselves. Neutral tones and soft colours work beautifully against our clean backdrop.
You’re very welcome to bring a number balloon or a small birthday cake if you’d like.
Do we need to bring anything with us?
Not at all — just your child and yourselves.
Some parents choose to bring a cake or number balloon, but this is completely optional.
How do we choose our portraits?
You’ll select your favourite portraits on the day, making the process quick and easy. We also offer the full Design Consultation appointment which is held on a separate date.
Where is the studio located?
Our studio is based in Fleet, Hampshire, welcoming families from the surrounding areas including Farnham, Hartley Wintney, Yateley and Camberley.
What if I’m looking for something more personalised?
If you’d love a longer session, custom styling, or portraits that include family or siblings, our bespoke birthday experience may be better suited to you.

Terms & Conditions
- The Portrait Experience Fee once booked is non-refundable.
- Design Consultation & Ordering Appointments are held at the studio on a separate day after the portrait experience.
- Photographs and/or products are not included in the session fee unless otherwise stated.
