Christmas music is playing. The fire is glowing. The trees are bright and twinkling. Little imaginations take over—and, for forty wonderful minutes, your family can simply enjoy being together.
Children don’t need to perform or produce perfect smiles here.
They can explore. They can laugh. They can believe.
We’ll gently guide your family throughout the experience, creating a beautiful variety of portraits of your children and your family together while the magic unfolds naturally around you.
Rich reds, warm light and all the nostalgic details of a traditional country-house Christmas make this a wonderful experience for the whole family, not simply somewhere for children to sit and pose.
Everything has been thoughtfully prepared. All you need to do is arrive and enjoy being part of it.

Your little ones can post their letters to Father Christmas right here in the studio. A few days later, a very special reply will arrive directly from his workshop. -

At the end of the experience, our studio elf has a small Christmas gift waiting for every child on the nice list! -

You’ll also receive a little something for everyone to take away and enjoy together. -
A £50 Studio Gift Certificate
Your certificate can be enjoyed towards Christmas Traditions artwork featuring your favourite portraits. It is not valid towards Digital Collections. -
Your private online gallery
Approximately 3–4 days after your experience, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can enjoy your portraits and choose your favourites.If you’d appreciate some personal help choosing, or would like to explore which artwork would best suit your home, you’re warmly invited to arrange a separate Design & Ordering Appointment at the studio.

Our Christmas Portrait Experiences are designed for one immediate family per booking, giving us the time and space to concentrate on your family and create a wonderful collection of Christmas portraits together.
If friends or extended family would also love their own Christmas portraits, they’re very welcome to book a separate Christmas Portrait Experience. ✨
There are no expectations for perfect smiles. We simply create a relaxed Christmas experience where children can be themselves, and that’s where the magic happens.
Step 1 - Reserve Your Appointment
Choose your preferred date and time, complete the short booking form and pay the £65 Portrait Experience fee.
Your appointment is reserved once your payment has been successfully completed. You’ll then receive confirmation by email, so please check your junk folder if it doesn’t appear in your inbox.
Step 2 - Prepare for Christmas
Before your appointment, we’ll send you everything you need to know, including what to wear, what to bring and how to prepare your children for the experience.
Please arrive wearing your first outfit. If you would love two different looks, there is time for one outfit change within your 40-minute appointment.
Step 3 - Enjoy The Experience
Step inside the studio, enjoy the Christmas music and let the outside world wait for a while.
We’ll gently guide your family throughout the experience, allowing your children time to explore, laugh and become part of the magic while we create your Christmas portraits.
Step 4 - Choose Your Favourites
Approximately 3–4 days after your experience, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can enjoy your portraits and choose your favourites.
If you would prefer some personal guidance, you’re warmly invited to arrange a separate Design & Ordering Appointment at the studio. We can help you compare your favourites and explore the Christmas Traditions artwork that would best suit your family and home.
Step 5 - Receive Your Portraits
Once your order has been placed and full payment received, purchased Digital Collections will be carefully prepared and delivered by download link within 2–3 days.
Production and collection times for Christmas Traditions artwork will be confirmed when you place your order.

We want every family to arrive knowing exactly what to expect, so here are the important details to consider before reserving A Country House Christmas.

One Immediate Family Per Appointment
Each Christmas Portrait Experience is designed for one immediate family—parent or parents and their children.
Grandparents, cousins, friends and separate family households are very welcome to reserve their own appointment. This gives every family the time and space to enjoy their experience without feeling hurried.

Your 40-Minute Appointment
Your Portrait Experience lasts approximately 40 minutes and will finish at its scheduled time.
If you arrive late, this will reduce the photography time available to your family, as we may be unable to extend the end of your appointment.

A Country House Christmas Set
A Country House Christmas is a carefully designed themed experience, and the set will remain as shown on this page.
While the setting is fixed, the personalities, relationships and little moments we photograph will be entirely your family’s own.

Outfit Changes
Please arrive wearing your first outfit. There is time for one change if you would love two different looks, but changing time forms part of your 40-minute appointment.
We’ll send you helpful styling guidance before your experience so that you can choose clothing that works beautifully with the set.

Dogs and Other Pets
We love including four-legged family members in many of our Portrait Experiences; however, dogs and other pets cannot take part in A Country House Christmas.

Illness and Rescheduling
If your child or another family member is unwell, please let us know as soon as possible.
Your £65 Portrait Experience fee is non-refundable. With at least 48 hours’ notice, it may be transferred to another available Christmas appointment.
Because A Country House Christmas takes place on a limited number of dates, we cannot guarantee that a suitable alternative appointment will be available.

Portraits Are Purchased Separately
The £65 fee reserves your Christmas Portrait Experience. Digital portraits and Christmas Traditions artwork are not included and are purchased separately after you have seen your portraits.
Digital Collections begin at £195, and Christmas Traditions artwork begins at £149.
Your included £50 Studio Gift Certificate can be used towards Christmas Traditions artwork but is not valid towards Digital Collections.
Choose the Portraits You Love
You don’t need to choose or pay for your portraits before your Christmas Portrait Experience.
Approximately 3–4 days afterwards, you’ll receive your private online gallery. Once you have seen your portraits, you can decide whether you would love a Digital Collection, something beautifully made for your home—or a combination of both.

Your Photographer and Christmas Magic Maker
I’m Helen, the photographer behind Moore & Moore Photography.
At Christmas, I love watching children step into the studio and become absorbed in the excitement around them. There’s no need for forced smiles or perfect performances. I’ll gently guide your family, help everyone feel comfortable and create joyful portraits filled with genuine personality and connection.
When I’m not photographing families, you’ll often find me with a coffee—or a G&T—a good chick flick and my two feline studio supervisors, Maggie and Molly.
Tony Moore
One of Father Christmas’s Mostly Invisible Helpers
You may not see Tony during your appointment, but his work is all around you.
As a grandad of four and lifelong Christmas enthusiast, he helps transform the studio, build the set, arrange the lights and make sure everything is ready before the first family arrives.
He also takes his responsibility for testing the mince pies extremely seriously.
Together, we want your family to feel completely welcomed, wonderfully looked after and free to enjoy every part of your Christmas experience.

Your family’s interactions, personalities and portraits will, of course, be entirely your own.
How long is the experience?
Your Christmas Portrait Experience lasts approximately 40 minutes. This includes your photography time and one optional outfit change.
Your appointment finishes at its scheduled time, so arriving late will reduce the time available to your family.
What should we wear?
We’ll send you helpful styling guidance before your appointment, including suggestions that complement the colours and atmosphere of A Country House Christmas.
Please arrive wearing your first outfit. If you would like two different looks, there is time for one quick change within your 40-minute experience.
What happens if our child is unwell?
Please let us know as soon as possible if your child is unwell.
With at least 48 hours’ notice, your £65 reservation fee may be transferred to another available Christmas appointment. Because A Country House Christmas takes place on limited dates, we cannot guarantee that an alternative appointment will be available.
When will we see our portraits?
Your portraits will be ready to choose approximately 3–4 days after your experience. We’ll email you when your private online gallery is ready.

Important Booking Terms
We want every family to feel completely confident about what they are reserving. These are the key terms relating specifically to A Country House Christmas.
- The £65 Portrait Experience fee is payable in full when booking and is required to reserve your chosen appointment.
- The Portrait Experience fee is non-refundable. With at least 48 hours’ notice, it may be transferred to another available Christmas appointment. Because the experience runs on limited dates, an alternative appointment cannot be guaranteed.
- Each appointment lasts approximately 40 minutes and will finish at its scheduled time. Late arrival will reduce the time available for your family’s experience.
- Each booking is for one immediate family. Grandparents, cousins, friends and separate family households require their own appointment.
- Dogs and other pets cannot take part in A Country House Christmas.
- A Country House Christmas is a fixed themed set and cannot be individually redesigned or altered.
- Portraits and products are not included within the £65 Portrait Experience fee and are purchased separately.
- Your private online gallery will usually be ready approximately 3–4 days after your experience. A separate Design & Ordering Appointment is available if you would prefer personal help choosing your favourites.
- Purchased Digital Collections will be delivered by download link within 2–3 days of the order being placed and full payment being received.
- The £50 Studio Gift Certificate may be used towards Christmas Traditions artwork. It cannot be exchanged for cash or used towards Digital Collections.
- This experience cannot be used in conjunction with another offer.
