An annual event, the Yateley Camera Club Photographic Exhibition is held each April. As a club of 80 members there is always a fantastic array of photography on show, and this is open to the public.
For this years panel I entered the “Theme Print Competition”, and I chose flowers as my subject. As many will know from my wedding photography, I love love love photographing the bouquets.
Using Freeshia, Tulips and Iris as my spring blooms for this panel of images, I photographed the flowers in our Moore&Moore Photography Studio, using a one light set up with reflector on the opposing side to bounce a bit light back on to the flowers.
Although you can’t see them in the finished shots, my props to support the flowers included a lens-hood and a beer bottle.
The Exhibition Images were judged by Jay Charnock FRPS, and, at the presentation evening on Saturday 14 April, I was very pleased to receive a Highly Commended Award for the panel.
I hope you enjoy looking at the images below. If you have any questions about the photographs, or are interested in purchasing prints please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
