Louise & Louis’ Wedding Portfolio
Westminster Boating Base, London
A London Wedding
As dawn light broke the day started with the first snowfall of the winter as a light flurry fell in the early morning hours. Snowflakes began to fall around 6.30a.m and temperatures of just over 1C were recorded in London as the snow came.
Louise and Louis wedding ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Church, Herne Hill (which was originally built in 1843-4), and was witnessed by their 150+ guests of family and friends.
After the wedding ceremony the guests enjoyed a bus ride on original style London double decker buses to Greenwich Docks, while also enjoying a glass or three of champagne on the way!
At Greenwich everyone boarded a boat for the journey up the Thames River to the jetty at the Westminster Boating Base. The journey up the Thames River also offered a great place to capture the Bride & Groom together for their first portraits as husband and wife as the sun slowly set behind the London skyline.
The following selection of images are some of our favourites from the day.
