Hannah & Tom’s Wedding Portfolio
Location : The Long Barn, Alton
An elegant winters wedding
Having known Hannah & Tom for a good year before their wedding as they booked us early, and also had a pre-wedding photo shoot with us, we knew they were hardy at heart and brave enough for anything (Tom had already put aside his hay fever allergies in the summer for the pre-wedding shoot). This was a good thing they were toughies as the British weather was getting ready to throw them the wettest December day in a long time.
Regardless the pouring rain, Hannah was all smiles as she dashed from the bridal car into the Church, her gorgeous Mori Lee wedding gown swept up in her arms. And she didn’t stop smiling the whole day.
Married in St. Andrews Church Medstead, the oldest documented building in Medstead, the 150 guests filled the church pews from end to end. The tiny church was at bursting point.
The Wedding Reception was held at The Long Barn in Hampshire, a truly spectacular venue and boasts being one of the largest barns in Hampshire. As this was a December wedding a glorious Christmas Tree was centre stage behind the bar with thousands of twinkling fairy lights.
With the weather very much keeping us inside the barn, the wedding photos of Hannah & Tom, family formals and bridal party photos were all created within the barns walls.
Their wedding collection; Hannah & Tom chose a full coverage wedding photography collection, from Bridal Preparations through to the first dance. Their collection also included a pre-wedding photoshoot held in the summer-time, complemented with a framed photograph from the photoshoot, and so a beautiful engagement photo now graces their wall at home. Additionally the wedding collection included a leather bound 10×10 inch album. This will undoubtedly become one of their first family heirlooms.
Their brief; An elegant mix of documentary and classic wedding photography and this was provided for Hannah & Tom together with the occasional ‘creative’ wedding photo incorporated to make things interesting!
