When to book your wedding photographer
Deciding when to book a wedding photographer is an important aspect of your wedding planning.
Many resources will suggest booking a wedding photographer anything from 6-12 months before your wedding. But if you are passionate about wedding photography you’ll be ahead of the rest and won’t leave your wedding photographer choice to chance.
Just recently we had a bride nearly miss booking her wedding photography with us at moore&moore photography because her ‘wedding planning guide’ had suggested 9 months in advance was plenty! Sadly, that’s not always the case.
Right now, we have weddings booked in 2 years from now and it’s common that brides book a wedding photographer early.
Along with the items you get ticked off the to-do list in the early days, such as securing your date with the Ceremony and Reception Venue’s, booking your wedding photographer should not be far behind.
The wedding season is ever changing too, so just because you might be having a Winter Wedding don’t assume it’s a safe bet to leave booking a wedding photographer until later.
Our message is simple, if you find a wedding photographer whose style of photography you love, then don’t hesitate and book your chosen wedding photographer.
It takes only one other bride to be ahead of you and book the wedding photographer you wanted!
Hope this helped in getting you thinking about when is the right time to book a wedding photographer. Don’t be disappointed. Good luck with your wedding planning!
